"NBC Nightly News" got complaints from viewers and at least one U.S. senator after it left New Hampshire off a map on Monday. Cue Brian Williams to issue a hilarious correction. The omission happened during a report about a tragic train crash in Quebec. Williams addressed the mistake with flair on Tuesday night. "Mea culpa and full disclosure: New Hampshire was lost by our graphics department," he said. "It has since been found and put back." He proceeded to hail the state's many distinctions, which include being the birthplace of paper towels.
